Rancho del Lago is a spectacular estate property just 4 miles (10 minutes) to downtown Durango and 28 miles (35 minutes) south of Purgatory Ski Resort. This Turtle Lake residence is unlike any other set in a gorgeous meadow with majestic views of the surrounding mountains, unique rock outcroppings, and Colorado bluebird skies.

The 20 acres showcase a main residence and guesthouse. This is the listing for the 1,300 square foot guest house ONLY which features 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms (note the 2nd bathroom is downstairs in the barn - see photo in the listing). The homes can be rented separately or together as each has substantial privacy buffers from the other yet are only 100 yards apart.

The exterior of the homes incorporate a gorgeous mix of corrugated metal, stone and reclaimed barn wood creating the quintessential Colorado mountain estate. The grounds are fenced for horses and include gorgeous landscaping around the house with woodlands, aspens, cottonwoods and healthy pastures beyond. The home features an open kitchen and living space, full bath with laundry, a large master bedroom and two bedrooms on the upper level. A gas fire pit was recently installed on the deck.

Access to thousands of acres of National Forest are within minutes; the Colorado Trailhead is a quick walk up the road.

This lakefront property is one of seven properties on Turtle Lake with roughly 600 feet of water frontage.

This property is pet friendly and the pet fee is $25/per day (max. $150). Max weight is 40 pounds and pets must be kenneled when left home alone.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to arrival date will incur no penalty and all amounts paid will be refunded in full. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy increases to sixty (60) day prior to the arrival date to receive a full refund with no penalty. We do offer travel insurance.

Stay with us and we offer discounts on both summer (rafting trips, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
